Coulsdon Manor Hotel and Golf Club offers a choice of suites for events and can accommodate celebrations of up to 180 people. The terrace provides a sophisticated space for welcome drinks receptions, allowing guests to admire the stunning surrounding scenery. 

The ceremony took place in one of Coulsdon Manor’s elegant rooms, where natural light streamed through large windows, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The couple had arranged for a live singer to perform during the ceremony, adding a truly personal touch to the proceedings.

After the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio area for the drinks reception. This part of the day is always a joy to photograph—everyone is relaxed, congratulating the couple, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The Coulsdon Manor Hotel and Golf Club offers stunning backdrops, and I took the opportunity to capture candid shots of guests mingling and toasting to the newlyweds.

Following the reception, I took the couple aside for some portraits. Coulsdon Manor’s grounds are nothing short of breathtaking, with plenty of picturesque spots for photos. We started with some classic, elegant portraits around the hotel grounds, using the lush gardens and the manor itself as our backdrop.

Then, we decided to have a bit of fun and took a golf buggy out onto the course. This was a fantastic idea—it allowed us to explore more of the stunning landscape while also giving the couple a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. I captured some playful shots of them on the buggy, which added a lighthearted and unique element to their wedding album.

As the day turned into evening, the celebrations continued inside the manor. The sit-down meal was beautifully set up in one of the grand dining rooms, and I took care to photograph the details—the table settings, the cake, and the room before the guests entered. The speeches were a highlight, filled with laughter and a few tears. I positioned myself strategically to capture the reactions of the couple and their guests as stories and toasts were shared. After dinner, it was time for the cake cutting and the first dance. The lively atmosphere carried on into the night, with the dance floor full of energy and excitement. I stayed late to capture the festivities, ensuring that every moment of the couple’s special day was documented.
